Data Backup

How Much Is Your Company Data Worth?

Organizations invest a lot of time, money and effort in developing their business data. Loss of contracts, sales records, proposals, accounting records, marketing material, business contacts, emails, digital photos, charts and graphs can be devastating. Remote data backup is a vital part of business continuity planning.

Can Businesses Afford Not to Consider DRaaS?

Today’s economy imposes the need to find new ways to reduce risk and still remain competitive.

Reasons to Use DataHive’s Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service

More than just backup, DRaaS allows fast spin up of VMs at DataHive in case of failure at client’s local site. This service is directed to clients operating their own virtual environments within the data centre. Because we are compatible with all mainstream hypervisors, setup process is very easy. In most cases it’s as easy as typing in an IP address, username, password, and deciding how frequently the replication is to take place.

  • DataHive’s solution is compatible with the following hypervisors: : Proxmox, Hyper-V, XenServer
  • Supported replication methods: Proxmox, VMware converter, Hyper-V Replication, VEEAM Replication, Unitrends Replication and more
  • Support for clients with limited upload bandwidth: Initial seeding is available. Instead of uploading hundreds of gigabytes of data over the Internet, a hard drive can be shipped, populated with data, and sent back to act as the initial seed.
  • Works with client connections as slow as 5Mbps upload per each 1TB data being replicated (depending on desired replication frequency).
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO): Systems can be up and running in as little as five minutes after a failure occurs.
  • Recovery Point Objective (RPO): Extent of data loss in case of disaster can be as little as fifteen minutes.
